While looking for videos to spotlight for Maisie’s film festival, I stumbled upon Animal New York’s one-question series called “What are you doing tonight?” and found that I really enjoyed the way they shot these little vignettes, all drawn around this one-question thread. It made me think about what works as a cute quick, entertaining piece of a neighborhood and a portrait of its residents.
Check out all the different neighborhood pieces… my personal favorites are the Christopher Street one below, Astoria, and Coney.
ps: “No, it’s like cream for eczema!” gets me every time. haha.
