After watching Lindsay Lowe’s short piece about the African American day parade in class yesterday, I was reminded a documentary about an annual Serbian music competition. The film follows a group of New Yorkers who travel to compete in the competition. I think it’s interesting to consider about how to edit this kind of material to try to express the energy of a live performance.
